HONORING OUR VETERANS ON MEMORIAL DAY
As Memorial Day approaches, The Villa Senior Living Community would like to take a moment to remember and honor those veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This day is a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude as we pay tribute to these brave men and women.

Memorial Day, also known as Decoration Day, originated after the American Civil War to honor Union and Confederate soldiers who died in combat. It is now a solemn day to remember all veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Each year, The Villa holds a special Memorial Day ceremony to honor our residents who are veterans and to show our gratitude to all veterans. The ceremony includes laying wreaths, playing Taps, and a moment of silence.

At The Villa, we believe in the power of storytelling and preserving memories. On Memorial Day, we invite our residents, their families, and staff members to share their personal stories and memories of their loved ones who were veterans.
